As a photographer, I find flowers fascinating. This gallery contains a selection of my monochrome floral photography. Photographing the flowers in black and white concentrates the mind on form rather than colour, and so emphasises the elegance of form.

Monochrome floral photography has a long tradition in fine art photography, emphasising the sensuous shape of many flowers, rather than the gaudy colours that otherwise predominate.
